Last month, Governor Abbott established new protocols to allow families to visit loved ones in nursing homes without social distancing restrictions – an effort to help improve the social, emotional, and physical needs of our nursing home residents. A resident at an eligible nursing home can designate up to two individuals who will be allowed direct access.
